SHARK System Architecture (On-premise)
Hardware and Technology
SHARK is based on Java, Web Technologies like JavaScript, HTML5 and a Microsoft SQL Server as database.
SHARK Application Server
The application has as minimum 2 services running:
- The Shark Scheduler
- The Shark Web Server
Optional:
- Optional the Shark WCS System (Shark Control) may be running as well
Shark Web Server
The Web Server has the following functionality:
- The client installation.
- The dispatcher. Taking care of communication between clients, sequence of picking, which VLM trays to fetch, confirmation
- PDA Web Client (Gator)
Shark Scheduler
Installed as a Windows Service.
Changing the SQL Server connection setup.
